Overview
The ACCC seeks your help to inform the 2024–25 Container stevedoring monitoring report. Information on the monitoring program and previous reports can be found on the ACCC website.
We invite you to share your views on the issues and challenges affecting the container freight supply chain in Australia by participating in this survey.
Confidentiality of information provided
Information provided on a voluntary basis is protected information under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. The ACCC has formally set out how we collect, use and disclose confidential information in the ACCC/AER Information Policy.
We will accept the information that you provide voluntarily on the basis that we will generally keep the information provided confidential. However, where relevant, some of the information you provide may be disclosed in the 2024-25 report. Primarily we are seeking your information for background and contextual purposes to inform our understanding of the industry.
If we propose to use information provided by you in the 2024-25 report, we consider it unlikely that it will be necessary for us to disclose it in a manner that identifies your business. As in past years, we expect that we will de-identify and/or aggregate information provided by multiple respondents when publishing it in the 2024-25 report. This includes, for example, consolidated statements about the experiences of respondents generally, or about unidentified respondents or groups of respondents.
Should we propose to disclose any of the information you provide in a manner that may allow your business to be identified, we will seek your consent before doing so.
