Overview

KPMG/Insync have been engaged by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) to review the extent to which the Consumer Challenge Panel (CCP) has achieved its role and objectives, and how the CCP might provide best value in the future.

This feedback form is an important part of the review. It follows an extensive scoping phase. Stakeholders views have also been sought through a series of interviews and group workshops.

You/your organisation has been nominated by the AER and/or a member of the CCP as having a considered and valuable perspective on the CCP. We encourage you to be candid and fulsome in your responses, which we will keep confidential. Answering this survey will help shape the future of the CCP.

Why your views matter

The purpose of this survey is to gain an understanding of your perceptions of, and experiences with, the CCP. In order to gain a full understanding of your experience, this survey is being conducted on an anonymous basis, unless you identify yourself by virtue of your experiences and examples.  Your identifying information (such as your name, email address or IP address) will not be collected during the survey, and your responses are collected on a confidential basis, with the intention of using any feedback in an aggregated and de-identified way. The results of this survey will be collected by the AER and provided on an anonymised basis to the consultants (KPMG / Insync) to include in their final report.

We ask what stakeholder group you are from, and your degree of familiarity with the CCP, to get a better understanding of the context of your response.

If you do provide any personal information in the body of your response, this will be treated in accordance with the ACCC & AER Privacy Policy, published 12 March 2014. Please refer to the ACCC/AER’s Privacy Policy and Information Policy.

The survey has 26 questions over 7 pages and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
