Quarterly Compliance Report review

Overview

As part of the Australian Energy Regulator’s transformation program announced in July 2018, we are reviewing a number of the AER’s ways of working. This includes a review of the Quarterly Compliance Report: National Electricity and Gas Laws (QCR). This short survey seeks your views on the QCR and will inform how we report on wholesale electricity and gas market compliance issues into the future. Your response will be treated as confidential and any results, if published, will be reported on an aggregated basis.

About the AER

The AER is Australia’s national energy market regulator. Among other functions, the AER is responsible for monitoring, investigating and enforcing compliance with obligations under the National Electricity Law, National Gas Law, National Energy Retail Law and the respective Rules and Regulations (national energy laws). We report on market activity, including reports on our compliance monitoring activities.
