Policies and procedures for the identification of NBN POIs

Overview

The ACCC has published a consultation paper seeking stakeholders’ comments as part of the review into the policies and procedures relating to the identification of the listed Points of Interconnect (POIs) to the NBN.

Why your views matter

Section 151DC of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 requires the ACCC to conduct a review of the policies and procedures relating to the identification of the section 151DB list of POIs.

Subsection 151DC(2) requires that the review must consider any ACCC requests to NBN Corporations to agree to the variation of the list of POIs, NBN Co’s response to such requests and the extent to which facilities are interconnected at listed POIs.

The review must be conducted before 30 June 2013 and must include a public consultation.
