Digital platforms inquiry forums

Closes 30 May 2018

Opened 15 May 2018

The ACCC is hosting public forums in May and August to discuss the impacts of digital platforms for consumers, advertisers (including small businesses), journalists and media organisations. These platforms include search engines (e.g. Google or Bing), social media (e.g. Facebook or Twitter) and content aggregators (e.g. Google News and News apps).

The consumer forum will take place in the Melbourne CBD on Tuesday 29 May from 6–8pm.

The advertiser forum will take place in the Melbourne CBD on Wednesday 30 May from 6–8pm.

You can register to attend either of these events using the link below. Once you have registered, you will be emailed an information pack that will include the venue location and other important information for the event. If you don’t have an email address, a pack can be sent through the post.

If you can’t attend a forum, you can still have your say online. Submit your response using the link below. As the inquiry is a public process, all responses will be published. However, you have the option to answer the questions anonymously.
