Overview

The ACCC has established a taskforce to conduct an investigation into quad bike safety and consider the merits of implementing a safety standard for quad bikes under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

As part of this process, the ACCC has released the Quad Bike Safety Issues Paper (available below) for consultation. The Issues Paper includes a series of questions that the ACCC is considering as part of their investigation. Responses will be used to inform a cost benefit analysis and any draft recommendations.
