Prohibiting Energy Market Misconduct Bill consultation

The ACCC is developing guidance on its approach to enforcing the recently adopted Prohibiting Energy Market Misconduct Bill that introduces new prohibitions into the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA).

We invite you to contribute to the development of this guidance by making a written submission to the ACCC.

In a letter to stakeholders, we have set out a list of issues that we are consulting on. The letter is available on this page as a PDF (see Related).


We would appreciate receiving submissions by Monday 23 December 2019, and not later than Monday 6 January 2020.
