Stakeholder survey - ACCC review of compliance and enforcement policy and priorities for 2027-28

Overview

The ACCC is an independent Commonwealth statutory agency that promotes competition and protects consumers across Australia.

We encourage compliance and undertake enforcement action under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the Act).

One way we do this is through our annual compliance and enforcement policy and priorities.

We are currently seeking views from business, consumer, community, government and legal stakeholders on:

• persistent or emerging issues that are causing consumer harm or impacting competition
• current focus areas of the 2026–27 compliance and enforcement priorities, and what issues should be prioritised in the year ahead.

Your feedback will help shape decisions the ACCC makes on:

• what matters to pursue
• how we can target our efforts to improve compliance with Australian competition and consumer law long-term.
