Overview
The ACCC is continuing its investigation into quad bike safety and considering the merits of implementing a safety standard for quad bikes under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
As part of this process, the ACCC has released the Quad Bike Safety Consultation Regulation Impact Statement for consultation. This includes detailed policy options as well as a series of questions for stakeholder consideration. Responses will be used to inform a final recommendation to the Assistant Minister to the Treasurer.
How to make a submission
Interested parties can upload a submission or complete the individual questions via this online consultation. Please refer to the Consultation Regulation Impact Statement below when completing the questions.

Submissions are due by 5pm, 4 May 2018.
All submissions will be treated as public documents and published on the ACCC website unless otherwise requested.
