The ACCC is continuing its investigation into quad bike safety and considering the merits of implementing a safety standard for quad bikes under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

As part of this process, the ACCC has released the Quad Bike Safety Consultation Regulation Impact Statement for consultation. This includes detailed policy options as well as a series of questions for stakeholder consideration. Responses will be used to inform a final recommendation to the Assistant Minister to the Treasurer.
